The minimum rental period is 1 day. Bookings can be made up to 6 months in advance. Same-day bookings are accepted subject to manual approval and should preferably be requested at least 3–4 hours before collection.

Each rental day includes 200 km, pooled across the rental period. Kilometres driven beyond the total allowance are charged at R5 per additional kilometre, calculated on return from the odometer reading.

A refundable security deposit is payable before the vehicle is collected or delivered, and is separate from the rental price:

• ·South African customers: R3 800
• ·International visitors: R5 000

The deposit is refunded within 72 hours after the vehicle has been returned and inspected, provided there are no applicable deductions (for example excess mileage, refuelling, traffic fines, tolls or damage).

The insurance excess/access fee is separate from the security deposit and is set out in section 11.

Rental days run on a 24-hour clock from the time of collection or delivery. Any period under 24 hours counts as one full rental day.

A grace period of 30 minutes applies. If the vehicle is returned more than 30 minutes after the agreed return time, an additional full rental day is charged.

A full-to-full fuel policy applies. The vehicle is supplied with a full tank of 95 unleaded petrol and must be returned with a full tank. If it is not, the cost of the fuel plus an R100 service fee is charged.

Collection in person is from 24B Molly Brown Street, Cape Town. Delivery is available within the Cape Town area, including Cape Town International Airport.

Delivery and collection are currently free of charge. There is no delivery or collection outside the Cape Town area.

• ·Minimum driver age is 21.
• ·The driver must have held a valid licence for at least 1 year.
• ·Only drivers approved by TOPZEE may drive the vehicle.
• ·Additional drivers must be approved beforehand and meet the same requirements.

International visitors must provide:

• ·Valid passport
• ·Valid driver's licence
• ·International Driving Permit where required
• ·Accommodation or contact address in South Africa

The vehicle may be driven within South Africa only.

Permitted

• ·Normal gravel roads
• ·Pets, by prior approval only
• ·Travel anywhere within South Africa

Not permitted

• ·Smoking and vaping inside the vehicle
• ·Off-road use
• ·Uber, Bolt or any e-hailing work
• ·Courier or delivery services
• ·Towing, racing or motorsport
• ·Illegal activities
• ·Cross-border or international travel

TOPZEE operates a single vehicle, so every booking request is reviewed and approved manually. Submitting a request does not confirm a booking.

• ·You submit a booking request with your dates and details.
• ·Your dates are held for 24 hours while you pay.
• ·You pay by EFT using your booking reference and upload your proof of payment on your booking status page.
• ·TOPZEE verifies the payment and confirms or declines the booking.
• ·Your booking is confirmed only once payment is verified.

No card details are collected or stored on this website. Payment is made by EFT directly into the TOPZEE bank account, and your proof of payment is uploaded to a private, owner-only area.

Rental dates may be changed at no charge, provided the request is made at least 72 hours before the rental begins and the new dates are available.

If TOPZEE cancels a confirmed booking, the customer receives a full refund of amounts paid, subject to applicable law.
